HOLIDAY DRINKS
SANTA SHAKE
2 bananas
1 c. of milk
3 T. of chocolate chips
1/2 tsp. of vanilla extract
Cut banana into chunks and put into blender. Add milk to blender. Add chocolate chips.
Add vanilla extract. Blend on puree setting until smooth.
CHRISTMAS PUNCH
2 c. water
1 c. sugar
4 c. cranberry juice
4 cinnamon sticks
12 cloves
2 c. orange juice
1 1/2 c. lemon juice
2 c. pineapple juice
1 quart ginger ale
Boil water and sugar. Add cranberry juice and spices. Cook 5 minutes and strain. Cool. Add
other juices and ginger ale and chill.
CHRISTMAS PUNCH #2
Christmas Punch Recipe
1 3 oz. pkg. cherry gelatin
1 C. boiling water
1 6 oz. can frozen lemonade
3 C. cold water
1 qt. Cranberry juice cocktail, chilled
1 12 oz. bottle ginger ale, chilled
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; stir in lemonade. Add cold water and cranberry juice. Place two trays of ice cubes in a large punch bowl; pour punch over ice. Pour in ginger-ale.
FIRESIDE SIPPERS
Hot cocoa mix
Peppermint candy cane
2 Marshmallows
Make cocoa according to directions. Thread 2 marshmallows on to candy cane.
Put candy cane into cocoa and use as a stirrer.
CRAN-CLAUS SODA
8 oz. Bottle of club soda
Cranapple juice
Ice
Candy cinnamon stick
Fill glass half full of juice. Add soda and stir. Add ice. Add candy stick.
NO EGG EGGNOG
6 cups milk
1 (4-serving) pkg. instant vanilla pudding & pie filling
4 teaspoons rum extract
3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg, divided
2 cups heavy cream (1 pint)
2 T. confectioners' sugar
In a punch bowl, combine the milk and pudding mix; mix well. Add the rum extract and 1/2
teaspoon nutmeg; mix well and set aside.
In a medium bowl, beat the heavy cream and confectioners' sugar until stiff peaks form. Add
half of the whipped cream mixture to the milk mixture; stir until well blended.
Dollop the remaining whipped cream mixture over the top and sprinkle with the remaining
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg. Serve immediately.
