Peanut Butter Fudge

1 lb. sugar
1 lb. brown sugar
3/4 c. milk
18 oz. peanut butter
1 (7-1/2 oz) jar marshmallow creme
1 c. peanuts, chopped (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugars and milk in large saucepan. Slowly bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Allow to boil for 5 minutes.

Remove from heat; add peanut butter, marshmallow creme, nuts & vaniklla; mix quickly before fudge hardens. Pour into 2 well-buttered 8-inch square pans. Set aside until firm; then cut into squares.
